Can anyone out there recommend any software to extract audio tracks from home movie MOV files?. I've been trying to find a way to grab the audio from youtube videos, because in some cases I cannot find certain rare recordings from anywhere else. The file doesn't play in quicktime but plays in VLC. I wish to extract the audio from a matroska (mkv) file. mkv file and extracting the 5.1 audio file (I'm guessing an ac3 file). I have a song that I want to extract from an AVI movie (downloaded from ). I want to extract direct stream copy of audio from. Is there an application that allows me to extract the audio from a MP4 or FLV video file and store it as an MP3 file for use in a portable media player?. I downloaded a few MP4-encoded videos from which I'd like to extract the audio stream into MP3 files for easy listening on my digital player. How do I extract just the audio track from a series of mp4 videos? These are downloaded class videos.
